2018 Syrah
Our 2018 Syrah has developed into a rich, dark wine with intense raspberry and cherry cobbler fruit flavors rounded out with hints of chocolate, cedar and plum. We hand picked our Syrah grapes early in the morning of September 18, 2018 from select rows of our estate vineyard, Les Collines. After a week in small open-topped fermenters, we drained and pressed the young wine into new French oak barrels to age in our underground caves. Our distinctive winemaking practice of extended barrel and bottle aging has softened the finish and added complexity to the aroma.

Winemaker notes: Blackberry, raspberry and plum fruit, with brown sugar and toasted oak aromas on the nose; a soft and round middle body is followed by a full, lingering finish.
